Hi,
I have performed a random vibration study using cosmos advanced professional and obtained rms values for stress, displacement and acceleration. Is it possible to progress this study into a fatigue life analysis to find out if the part being analysed will survive the random vibration over a set period of time?
I`m thinking this is not as simple as just getting some numbers out of the software so if somebody has any experience in generating fatigue life values from vibration studies any help would be much appreciated.
thankyou in advance.
Mike
