Range qualified for Filler Metal in WPS AWS D1.1

Dear friends!!
have a question regarding the qualified range of an AWS D1.1 WPS. Ed.2015, where it is a qualified WPS.

My question: WPS was qualified using the addition metal: E7018 according to AWS A 5.1, WITH BASE METAL: ASTMA A36, WHERE IT WAS QUALIFIED WITH THE GROUP'S BASE METALS: I X I - I X II AND II X II

QUESTION: WOULD THE QUALIFIED RANGE FOR METALS OF ADDITION BE: 60XX + 70XX FOR AWS A5.1 AND 70XX-X FOR AWS A5.5 ??

REMEMBERING THAT IN 3.3 IT SAYS: ONLY ADDITION METALS WITH BASIC TYPE COATING, CAN BE USED IN PRE-QUALIFIED WPS's.

MY IS A QUALIFIED WPS WITH FOLDING, ULTRASOUND AND TRACTION

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG

60xx is not basic, it is cellulosic

It sounds like you qualified a WPS in accordance with clause 4, in which case you qualified by testing. That being the case, the provisions of clause 3 have no bearing on the range of your qualifications.
