Does anyone know if there are 90-minute doors manufactured with non-rated vision panels?
We have several 90-minute doors installed that separate our control rooms from the turbine deck and none of the glass is rated (only tempered). Some of the doors were installed within the past 5 years and others have been around since the 70's when the units were built. For the most part the doors (old and new) comply with the requirements of NFPA 80, but I can't find anything regarding non-rated glass panels (roughly 6-in x 20-in). The glass frame is removable by unscrewing a dozen or so flat-head screws; this makes me think at some point they could have replaced the glass (due to breakage, etc)...there is no "UL" mark and the glass isn't wired...so I'm at a little disadvantage to say whether the door probably is or probably is not a complete and compliant fire rated door. But if someone is aware of rated doors that have non-rated glass vision panels, than that muddies my water a little.
Thanks in advance.
