Modelled a pipe system using the rational method and by the use of a spreadsheet. Pipe system discharges to a pond. Is it possible to use the rational method discharge data into the pond and model the pond in Hydrocad?

You could use a link to manually enter an external hydrograph, but it would be easier to do the runoff generation in HydroCAD and have everything together.

If you use a link, remember that you need a complete hydrograph in order to do a pond routing. Just having the peak flow from your spreadsheet is not sufficient. If you're modeling a pond you really shouldn't be using the Rational Method anyway. For details please see

Thanks for the response. How well does Hydrocad perform in pipe routing? I have only used it for attentuation and basin analysis. I have never used it for pipe design.
