raw data for S-N curve of steels

Dear fellow researchers,

I would like to know where I can find the editable/raw data for a set of points of a S-N curve for a high strenght steel, like a dual phase. I can only find the S-N curves, already built, not the data that originated the curves.

you can do the reverse :
1 - you pick up some data from the curves
2 - with those data you can find a formula that generates the curve
3 - with that formula (after checking that it complies in an acceptable way) you can edit as many data as you like

It depends on who built the curve.
Sometimes I have found the data in research papers.
Sometimes it is never releases.
One thing that you never know is what statical methods they used to filter the data prior to use.
The same applies to the statistical confidence level represented by the curve.
Unless these are constructed for use in the B&PV Code or for aerospace use the curves that you see may be closer to 'artists representations' than to the exact data.

Mil Hdbk 5 and it's successor MMPDS has some data.

The Mil-5/MMPDS data is held by Battelle, it is not in the documents. I don't know if Battelle makes the data available - one would need to query them.

as I remember the graphs, they had data points on them ... maybe not all ... but not just curves.
