I am interested in finding how to calculate a raw water iron sample on a machine that doesn't read higher than 3.30. I know how to cut the sample down and retest it to get under 3.30, but am I adding the readings together each time tested? Thanks.

If you cut your sample to 1/2, that is 1 part distilled water and 1 part raw sample, you double the recorded reading.

If you cut your sample to 1/3,(1 part sample, 2 parts distilled water) you triple your reading.
