Does anyone know of tolerence values for the deminisions given in a Raychem Medimum Voltage Splice or termination Kits. This is for 6.9KV.

Since it has been over six weeks since your initial posting, you may have already gotten your answer. However, the dimensions given in the technical information of the literature specify the min-max cable insulation diameter, and may also specify the maximum jacket diameter for a particular kit. These are conservative, but should be adhered to as closly as possible. There is no predetermined +/- tolerance for the kits.An installer may think that the kit is oversized because the tubes appear to be way too large for the cable, but this is not neccessarily so. The tubes are sized such that when completely shrunk the wall thickness is adequate for the voltage class of the installed product.

Hope this helps.
