Can you recommend a comprehensive textbook that provides detailed design examples, design case studies, and step-by-step guidelines on Seismic reinforcement detailing in accordance with IBC, ACI, and ASCE-7 standards for structural engineers?

For a deep dive on theory, I like the Jack Mohle book. You wont find much there for examples and case studies though.

For a concise "what exactly needs to be done" on detialing, I've found some of the PPI exam prep books to be pretty great.

For examples, I like the NHERP stuff, both the design briefs and the documents on retrofit. All free: Link

Thanks Kootk, your assistance has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate it.

Happy to help ALK. Report back if you wind up finding anything better than what our group suggests. I did most of my seismic self study back when I was gearing up for my SE licensing exams.

This doc. ( free of charge ) will be helpful..

There's also a whole heap of free seismic documents from NEHRP going into specific items, like special walls, foundations, diaphragms, etc. Just search around for specific topics and the pdfs should float up
