Command SOLVIEW
to make orthogonal views, and sections of a solid
in Layout View Ports.

Assuming we want several side views of a solid:

1.There are some solids in the model space.
Click Layout1
2. Reduce the size of the existing floating Viewport to make room for the coming side views.
3. Lets say the existing viewport shows the top view. Now we want side views placed around it. Deactivate the viewport by clicking outside it.

4. Command SOLVIEW

a. Option ORTHO: follow the prompts -
a1. Which side? Pick one side of the existing viewport (not of the objects)
a2. Center of new side view? Pick a point away from the existing viewport, enter.
a3. Pick two corners to contain the new side view inside a new viewport.
a4. Name for the new viewport: any name, like right, left, back front.

done. For better visibility, activate the new viewport and use command HIDE.

b. Option SECTION
Same procedure, more or less.

I just hope this was the question. The word isometric is a bit confusing. I assumed Orthogonal views of the 3D object were meant by it. If misunderstood, awfully sorry.
