Needs help !

Recently, one of our product failed at ASTM D565-88 test
(Standard Test Method for Carbonizable Substances in White Mineral Oil) continuously.
Anybody who knows about ASTM D565-88, let me know the meaning and exact components of "Carbonizable Substances" in white oil in detail.

And, if somebody knows any solution to pass ASTM D565-88, please comment.

I don't want to sound snide, but do you have a current copy? Have you read it?
Join ASTM for $85 and get the a single volume of standards free.
If you manufacture products that are ordered and tested to ASTM specificqations those are leagal terms, you had better be keeping up with them.
You either need to be able to do the test yourself or find a lab that will do it for you.

Corrosion, every where, all the time.
Manage it or it will manage you.
