I am trying to keep the slope on a reach based on a cross-section to lock. I enter the data for Inlet Invert, Slope, and then lock the slope, apply the changes. When I go back into edit the reach, the locks are open and the slope has changed. I have also tried locking both the Outlet Invert and Slope, but neither remain locked. Is there any reason the slope will not stay locked? HydroCAD 10.10-3a

The lock buttons are active only during editing. When you click OK the inverts and length are saved exactly as shown on the screen. The slope is always calculated based on the length and inverts, and is not stored directly. The slope you see on the screen is provided to assist with entry of the inverts and is not stored directly.
