Reaction moment/Free body moment question

See attached .jpg's. I have a part with a fixed constraint on the cylindrical face and applying a normal force of 5 lbf. on the extreme edge of the handle (see setup). The handle is 8 inches from the edge to the center of cylinder, therefore inducing a 40 in-lb torque around the axis. When I view the results for either reaction moment or free body moment I get the following (see list results). I have tinkered with all the options to get the result of 40 in-lb on the axis, but no luck. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Looks like all you did was constrain the cylindrical face to be fixed. This would not yield a torque around the axis.

Constrain the face relative to the axis with zero rotation or axial movement.

I ran this on my own. The results you get are consistent with a fixed constraint. Change the constraint to "Use Reference Geometry" w.r.t. the axis, and constrain all 3 DOFs (radial, axial, rotational).

Tick,

Can you send me a screenshot of how you are setting this up and the results screen?

Thanks.

There are two C/Works static studies in this part: one w/ fixed face and one w/ constrained to axis.

Tick,

Thanks for attaching the part. I still can't get the results I'm expecting under reaction force. Still looks like the list results .jpg I first sent. I dunno....

Thanks for your help.
