I am trying to run a FloWorks analysis on a series of IGES surfaces that I have imported into solidworks. When I attempt to start a new project I get a message that states at least one component must be selected.

Any help on how I can run an analysis with an IGES file would be much appreciated.

Thanks In advance

Hi,
from what I knew about FloWorks 2004, it needed solid bodies for the analysis: it couldn't deal with any surface at all.
Thus, if your model is made of surfaces but these surfaces have gaps or trim issues, then SolidWorks won't be able to "convert" the colsed-surface sets into solids.
You can immediately check this out by looking into the feature manager tree.
