Really Slow Loading

My problem and question is how come that a small file like this one takes 1-2min to load (

and files much bigger takes a secound
is there anything I can do about it ?
is it takeing the same time for you guys?

i've checked the "LayerFiltersDelete" script but it didnt help or change anything

I cant check out the drawing at the moment. Are there any Xrefs on the drawing if there is that may be part of the problem. There are a few other good websites for cad give them a try post the question there are some real bright sparks out there.

Do you use AutoCAD Mechanical or ADT per chance? These programs run checks on drawings for special objects and can really slow down load times.
