Rebar Weight 2

What is the weight of a piece of rebar? (#3, #4, #5, #6, #7, and #8)

I am also curious as to the comparitive price/ lb of rebar to W steel beam shapes. Just trying to get a feel for the cost with the rising steel prices.

Steel weighs 490 pounds per cubic foot. Dividing by 144, it's 3.4 lb/sq. in./ft. Works equally well for rebar or structural steel shapes.
