Recomb and despoke

I'm having trouble finding out what these terms mean in the context of spatial spectrum estimation and broad band beamformers. I haven't been able to turn up any material on either, any ideas?

Just a couple of guesses -

A comb generator is typically a pulse source, with the comb defined by the harmonics of the pulse repetition rate. A very narrow pulse that repeats every 10nS will have fairly level 100 MHz harmonics out into 10s of GHz. Recomb could mean to change the base frequency (repetition rate) of a pulse to shift the harmonics (the comb) to other frequencies. I suspect you would have to frequency lock to the pulse and then generate a new pulse at an offset frequency.

Despoke - Potentially bandpass a harmonic to make a hole in the comb. Not an easy thing to do but you can knock the harmonic down by a few/several decibels.
