Hi there,
I came across with a small fire incident within an old building (said to be 40-50 years old) at the incoming LV power supply cabinet. I noticed that there were signs of arcing on the cable trunking (at the bend section) housing the power cables into the cabinet. The cable trunking were 'packed' with quite a number of cables.
Are there any references (Installation Guide, Standards or Code of Practice) that I can refer to, pertaining to the recommended number of cable that could be fitted in a cable trunking system for certain dimensions? I have check the Wiring Regulations 17th Edition, and there was little mention about cable trunking/ducting system(when compared to cable trench method).
Thank you.
