Contractor is getting ready to pour about 5,000 sq ft of 12 - 18 inch thick, 4,000 psi reinforced spillway slab. The liklihood is that cold temperatures may be an issue and the CM is looking for some sort of temperature gauge that can measure and automatically log the temperature of the concrete during the cure. Any recommendations?

I have a set of LASCAR Electronics temperature EasyLog dataLoggers that work well and can store a 'pile' of temperature information... They can record temperature at 10 minute intervals for the full 28 days and more...

Should have added, they use an oddball battery 3.6V, 1/2 AA lithiums that are pricey.

excellent, this looks exactly like what I need.

dik...I have a couple of loggers (different type) that use the same battery. They are hard to find!

cvg...you might consider a maturity meter...will do the same.
