Hi,
I would like to know more about the color properties in recycled LDPE. I want to get purchase some however I dont know how to specify the color (or an acceptable color range) and there doesnt seem common to do this which I thought strange (The optical properties are specified e.g. gloss / haze). I have seen photos from different suppliers and they vary from a clean natural color right through to a blue / black color.
What is the standard way of specifying color of repro ldpe ?
Why is some recycled LDPE clear and other dark / blue / brown colour ? But not red yellow etc.
Is the color not an important characteristic and so not normally specified?
Sorry a jumble of questions there. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated !
