red dimension on solidworks

drawing dimensions became RED. I would like to bring them back black ...does anyone know how?

It's an over-defined dimension.

Remove (or make driven) dimensions/relations that are overdefining the geometry.

dimension are not over defined ... I just open my drawing couple of days after I finished it and all the dimension are in red and blue

Well, unless you have gremlins in your system somewhere, someone changed something between your last save and when you opened it.
If you're sure that nothing is over-defined, see if you have your dims on different layers...assuming you're using layers.

Is the color a bright red or more magenta?

Are any of the dimensions controlled by a Design table?

Try toggling the Color Display Mode icon in the Line Format toolbar.

some dimensions are bright red and others are in blue.
I even verified colors in :
Options> Colors> Color Scheme Settings>Annotations> Edit.
and everything seems to be fine.

The only way i can remove the red and blue dimension is by erasing the dimension and add it back. I have a lot of drawings and I can't do it to all of them

Go to options:

Options> Colors> Color Scheme Settings>Dimensions> Edit.
Check all the dimension color settings, there's about 5 to review

Dimensions are separate color options than Annotations

do you have your model loaded?

when I open a detached drawing and select dimensions to intersection points, the dimension end-points appear red until the model is loaded, then they are fine
