I am having similar problem to the one that the member 9527 asked under the thread thread799-105599 and which was answered by the member MRG
I have a material of property A that I need to remove part of it and replace it with a material of property B. Of course Iam using Model Change for that purpose.
In Assemply I created two distinct sets of nodes and elements that occupy the same zone to be removed. I Named one element set 'ESETA' and assign to it the material properties 'A'. I Named the other element set 'ESETB' and give it the properties 'B'
Initially I performed one step only (to see what happens) in which I REMOVED only the element set ELSETB assuming that ESETA is still there (the concerned zone is still there). However when I went to Visualization I noticed that the concerned zone has gone completely. What should I do
Any comment about that is highly indebted
