Hello everybody,
I am currently working on Abaqus, by .inp files. My modelization is made by a great number of elements. The study is about indentation process by a conical indenter. I work in an axisymetric problem.
My problem is the following: the .stt result file grows until about a 30 Go size...
However, I reduced the ouput frequency. That is to say that I put the command lines :
*Output, field, variable=PRESELECT, frequency=250
*OUTPUT,HISTORY, FREQUENCY=250
(I have about 10,000 increments, and I work with fixed time increments)
first, the frequency number was set to 10, so I increased it to 250. this reduced the .odb file size considerably. But not the .stt... which is my problem...
Does anyone know how to reduce it's size?
