Hi,

When placing a dimension in a drawing, the size (scale) of the dimension is huge. I used to go to
tools>options>document properties>annotations and place a check on the option "always display text same size"
or something like that.... however I don't see that option. Any suggestions? Thanks. Using SW 2013.

Original poster here.... with a bit of more searching I found the option under Detailing.... however the option to
"always display text at the same size" is grayed out. Any suggestions? Thanks

It should be greyed out in a drawing. That function is for parts/assemblies.

You need to set your annotation font in the document properties of your document, and probably also of your drawing template.

Font sizes are established in the document template you are using. To change them open a new document. Then select Tools, Options, Document Properties tab. From there you can set the font types and sizes for annotations, dimensions, etc. Save any changes to your template. The next time you use that template you will have the font sizes you want.
