Trying to locate reference design values for Southern Pine (and any other species) heavy timber beams. NDS and the Southern Forest Products Association list Reference Design Values for dimension lumber only up to 4" thick and 12" wide. I am designing timber trusses that use nominal 6x6's but the published info I can find reference visually graded sawn lumber.

Thanks, boo1. I saw the Cf calculation in the NDS. However, unless I mis-read, it appears to only apply to sawn lumber up to 4" thick and more than 12" wide. What do you do when you have a member thicker than 4".
