Dear All,

I hope some one can help me with this design issue.
We are working with default components (electrical), these components are used a lot in different assemblies and have also different reference designators in those assemblies.

Now we want to created a solid text or PMI not on the default component that shows an attribute from the apply to instance attributes.
This because the apply to instance can be different in every assembly.

Whe creating en text on a surface i can link to the part attributes but not to the instance attributes of that component.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Greats

Ruud

This can i do all ready.
The thing is we are using NX8.5 and here you have in an assembly different context where you can assign attributes.

when i working a the part file and not assembly i can't select the "apply to instance" attributes.
