Reference electrode Cathodic Protection

Here´s my issue
I would like to buy a reference electrode for a aboveground storage tank that store Diesel and gasoline.
What I want to know is:
What are the specifications for buying the reference electrode. What is the best for the application in aboveground storage tanks? Cathodic protection.
