Reference in PDMworks 2006

Hi everybody
I used the part from the existing project in the vault into the new assembly and as i check in new assembly in the same project where the old assembly and part exists, PDMworks doesnot show the symbol of reference to the existing part in the new assembly.And while i chek in the new assembly in the different project the icon of the part file appears as a referenced part.Why it is so? can't the part be shown as a reference document if i use in different assembly but keep both the assemblies in the same project.

I would suggest you ask your VAR. I have never had a problem with referenced documents in PDM.
