Refine Locally

Hi, I'am a beginner with Abaqus ( i was on ideas before ) and i would like to have different seeds size on different parts of the same piece.

I created different cells ( with partition cell tool ) but i didn't achieve to refine locally my meshing.

If you can help me thanks a lot

You should explore the mesh module menus:

Seed - Edge by number
Seed - Edge by size...

It won't be hard to get the hang of it.

yes but i want to have different size on differents "zones" of my part.

no body know how to assign different meshing size on different areas of my part ?

on Ideas you can refine locally, i want to do the same on abaqus
