Regarding CDP model

I have modelled concrete with a yield strength of 20 Mpa for a sub-assemblage model. But, from dynamic analysis, the Von mises stress distribution shows a maximum stress of around 60 MPa. What is the reason?

Prepare a single element test using the same material properties. This will give you a better understanding of how it works under different load conditions (you can start with uniaxial tension). Compare it with the plots in the documentation chapter "Concrete Damaged Plasticity".
