Registers - Buffering data from a Matched FIR

I am modeling a system that takes data from a 4 quadrant laser pulse detector and classifies the pulse as either valid or invalid according to certain set of characteristics. I am having problems with modeling the pulse validation process. Data from one mathced FIR must be buffered for N samples. These samples are then sent to another process that analyzes the whole pulse but needs information like Vpeak before hand...hence the need for a FIFO. How can this be achieved in Simulink?
