Appreciate your help to explain the basic requirement to register and inspect for pressure vessels, in terms of minimum pressure etc.
We have an evaporator that consists of a boiling chamber which is in vacuum state. It is used to evaporate wastewater at flash evaporation of around 40degC.
The wastewater is initially heated by a heat exchanger and a compressor (using a refrigerant).
After which the distillate from this evaporation goes to another distillate storage tank for overflow discharge to other uses. The concentrate will also go to a concentrate storage tank for further offsite disposal.
In short, do we need to register with MOM Singapore for the boiling chamber, heat exchanger and compressor?
Many thanks in advance!
