reinforced concrete slab resign for h20 loading

here is my question: I have a 10 foot dia 6 in thich reinforced conc slab with #5 bars each way at 6 inches o/c.
The slab covers a leaching basin, and slab has a 24 inch opening for a casting. There is about 8 inches of cover between the top of slab and the ground surface.

Is this slab's strength sufficient for H20 loading? Thanks for your help.

Ask the engineer who designed the slab. If he (or she) is not available, ask your office structural engineer. And if your company is not lucky enough to have a structural engineer on staff, you'll have to pay one to evaluate this.

You will also need to describe where, within the slab cross section, the reinforcement is placed. Is it near the top? bottom? or middle ?
