I am working with an existing building with a reinforced gypsum concrete roof on bulb-tees on steel joists. I have downloaded the information from the gypsum association from this website. The 2006 IBC includes very little information in Section 1914. The old UBC has more info. The 1994 UBC in section 1927 references U.B.C. Standard 19-15 for diaphragm design of reinforced gypsum concrete. The 1988 UBC in section 2627 references U.B.C. Standard 26-15.

Does anyone have a copy of either of these old standards so I can see what was used for design during this time frame? I am primarily concerned with connection strength.

Thank you very much!

One of our members has a website containing a ton of historic data: Link. Maybe you'll get lucky.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
