2 questions:
1. At what point is a concrete pedestal considered mass concrete? I'm trying to figure out what size a pedestal needs to be before I can stop using the 0.005Ag reinforcing requirement.
2. Are there ANY provisions for reinforcing in mass concrete? It seems everywhere I read that the temperature and shrinkage is accounted for not by means of reinforcing.
