Could anyone please tell me how to relate draw mode entities to views.

To clarify this. When I re position a view, any text, machining ticks etc.. stays in it's original location

Thanks

Edit -> origin then make the entity relative to view (and pick which view).

Extremely helpful

Thankyou very much

After futher investigation the above command only seems to relate text, machine ticks etc. to the view and you can only seem to do 1 item at a time

Does anyone know how to relate multiple items to a view in one operation and also how to relate draw mode lines to views

Thanks

Expand your view & create the geometry within the view to make lines dependent to that particular view. Make sure your layers are set correctly as well. I feel that's the easiest way to handle geometry that you wish to be relative to any view.

Not positive if you can select pre-existing annotations & make them all relative to a view or not. Have you tried holding down SHIFT while you select? If that doesn't work, then I seriously doubt you can select multiple objects....something I feel they need to improve.

One caveat to Tim's advice. The annotations created in the view will be the same scale as the view, so you will have to make adjustments if your view is not 1/1 scale.

Thanks for the catch, Eric! Had that on my mind, but forgot to add that in there when I posted.
