I really haven't used Relations but it looks like something that can be very useful. Anyone willing to share any kind of tutorials or pdf's on how to use them? Or samples? Websites?

Art,
It is something very useful and powerful. It is one of many things that kicks ProE up a notch or two above other cad packages.

Now a good deal of things can be done with the use of construction lines in sketcher such as centering a feature on a part regerdless of len & width, which can be done with relations but there are some freebies.

Relations are really sweet in assembly mode for maintaining fit and play between parts such as making sure the hole that a shaft goes into always has clearance of a certain value or even a range of values as the size increases... conditional relation..<if>

First off if you are going to start using them I sugeest you add the switch dimensions icon to your config.win file.. it's a icon under info that will toggle between value and name, also naming the dim comes in handy too... modify>DimCosmetics>symbol..makes life a little easier down the road

You may also want to add a different value in your config.pro file to make it easier to see what the names of different values are...text_height_factor 30 .. works pretty good for me....otherwise they are pretty hard to tell what's what.

I think you will enjoy them, they can be a little confusing, so you may want to do a little testing out in some play parts first.. but before you know it you will be saying ...try and do that in Acad :)
