Remeshing: why not available with Explicit 6.6 ?

Awaited features about automatic remeshing are now available with Abaqus 6.6.
Unfortunately, these features are only compatible with the Standard version, even in the 6.6.EF release.

Is there any reason why the Explicit version is not concerned with this great enhancement ?

To my point of view, there is no theorical reason...

The remeshing is not available for Dynamic steps, both Standard and Explicit.
