Hi to all, when I look at my stress-element-nodal results, the fixing edge of my impeller has the often the highest stress in the whole part.
Is it possible to erase this edge from the results? Maybe by setting a parameter (there are so much of them...)? I have attached a screenshot.
Thanks for your informations and help.
Regards,
Sonja

Hi Sonja,

It is possible. The steps below are for post viewing only and does not take into account the credibility of your loading and constraint assignment.

1. While in sim mode, create a new group.
2. In the new group, in the selection filter use node and feature edge nodes option. Choose the nodes on the edge.
3. Accept the new group.
4. Create a stress contour plot.
5. In the post processing navigator, find the Post View node. Expand it.
6. Find Groups node. Expand it. Uncheck the new group you created in earlier step. This will hide the nodes, and the elements associated with it.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Tuw
