I have brought in a customer file from a .stp file and it is basically a dumb solid. I need to simplify some of the geometry so that it plays nice with the software on our laser cutter.

Basically I need to remove some of the radii. Any ideas or tips for a quick solution?

Phone the customer and ask him for a version with all radii set to zero. Quicker for him to do it than you.

Delete Face with Heal option.
I think free Inventor Fusion has a technique of filtering radii of sizes you range and removing them in a more automatic fashion.
