Remove specific bodies from a pattern

In our parts we create fins for heat dissipation on radially rotating parts. I created a new body and inside this body are two pads that define the two fins (one is slightly shorter than the other). I then create a few other features to trim both fins or modify them (such as fillets, draft, etc.). From there I have a set of "master" fins I can then perform a circular pattern on. This leaves me with 90 bodies (2 sets of 45 of each fin type). I want to remove certain fins because other geometry will eventually occupy the space they are in. Is there a way to pick these specific bodies and delete them (and only them)? Or do I have create a pad and do a remove to eliminate these unwanted bodies?

In the image I added you can see how I built the fins, and then an example of the fins I want to remove (the ones with red leaders).

You idea/example would work if the "Body" I created only has a singular fin "Pad" feature in it. But since I have two fins (each with a slightly unique shape) in the same "body" when I run the pattern command it patterns both fins. So if I select the red dot, it would eliminate a set of fins not just a singular fin. What I am hoping for is after the pattern the ability to delete a set of random bodies. It may come down to my modeling technique. Since both fins get the same two trims I made two "pads" that represent the fins, then cut both of them with the same remove features.

Coming from SolidWorks where a body is a body. FOr instance it would recognize there are 2 bodies there before I do the pattern. After the pattern it recognizes 90 bodies not 45. So I can independently delete any of them I want. I'm adapting to the Catia mindset so maybe I just did something wrong. Open to that being the case. As my favorite quote from a training class goes "99% of the time the issue lies somewhere between the back of the seat and the front of the keyboard"!

It seems that in this case the thing to do would be to have the two fins modeled each in their own body. Then you would create two patterns, which would allow the bodies to be managed independently of each other. Presumably both pads, in their respective bodies, would be trimmed by the same features from upstream.
Would that accomplish what you need?
