Removing elements from views??

I have multiple 2d views generated from an assembly of 3d parts within the drafting workbench. How do you remove some of the part geometry from a single view without affecting the other 2d views?

hi there..
1. right click on the view where you need to filter some parts.. then
2. select view modily links..
3. switch back to the assembly and select which are the part that u want in the drawing only for that view.. (multiple selection can be done using ctrl key)
4. when u switch back to the drawing window you can c that the pointed element is whole assembly and the 3d elements to add is ur current selection.
5. click add all and the selected parts gets added to the view.. click preview to visualize ur part...
6. click ok and update ur view..

note:- dont apply links to others view using the contextual menu , by doing so this will update all the views with the selections that u have made in the assy.ù

The method Ashvanth posted is the method I use, however I can only get it to work for multiple part bodies within one CATPart file. CATIA did not let me do this with an assembly.

Right click on the view, go to the View.object, select Overload Properties. Select the part you don't want visible, and in the dialog box that appears, select the part and edit. From here de-select the "Use when projecting" and select OK (note: if you deselect the "Shown" option, the part will disappear, but it will still hide parts that are behind it).
