Removing Items from Component Patterns 1

Dear Folks;

Using Inventor 10 I have created an assembly which uses a component pattern to copy 2 parts, a dust collector door and a purge pipe across a front panel with 5 openings for these items. How do I remove the door from the component pattern and leave just the purge pipe ?

select the "component patern" in the browser, right click, and "edit pattern" which will open the dialog box. Click the "components" box, and then control-click ont the part you want the remove from the group and hit OK.

If you just want to delete it entirely, expand the browser for the pattern, and right-click on the component and "delete" it.
