Reorienting view of part always goes to fron view

I am currently trying to reorient a part in order for the drawing views to to come out alright but whenever I reorient a new view it always goes back to the first view I used.

I reoriented the front view (works out ok). When I ry to reorient the other views it just goes back to the front view after applying my surface references.

I am new to Creo (originally from SolidWorks) so I am still trying to understand the commands to make this work properly. Any ideas?

So far just basic training my company has given me since I will not be working long enough to take their full training course. I managed to get my issue fixed but am still learning as I go
