Guys,
My small subdivision has private asphalt roads which have about 3" of base material. Naturally, the road are constantly cracking and over time developing potholes. Have there been any improvements on repair procedures other that just cutting and excavating, putting in the right thickness base and patching the surface?.. I'm retired so I haven't kept up...
And does repairing of hairline cracks immediately save any money over waiting for the surface to actually fail?... they are cutting 6' x 6' segments for about a 2' hairline seperation.. seems like the contractor is controlling the work to me...all input is appreciated, guys
