I have a sheet of ABS with another sheet of ABS butt welded to it in a T fashion.
This weld joint is under tension and I have cracked about 4 inches near the end of the weld. I cannot separate the pieces to repair them and the crack is only detectable because the vertical part can be moved sideways exposing the joint line. This is a tank and I can only access one side of the weld.
How can this be repaired so that the crack will not propagate and fail again?
This is under continual tension (approx.. 300 psi) in a vibration environment.
Thanks
