Repairing old FAQs

I looked at https://www.eng-tips.com/forums/1103/faqs/1185 and I see a couple of problems with it; some suggestions may have gone away if the new software handles uploaded file names differently, but for certain the list items are screwed up. I've seen this on other old threads.

I think the lists could be fixed on a site-wide basis, but how does the information that was specific to the 2005 version of the forum get updated? I don't see a way to edit it.

You can only edit FAQs that you create. When you do, they disappear briefly, so far the ones I edit (and I'm a bit 'high key' on that) have all come back eventually.

We has some really not FAQ worthy items in the structural engineering general forum and I mentioned them here and Jon reviewed and deleted them (they were questions on software or design, and you can't reply to a FAQ, all you can do is provide feedback).

Anyhow, if the FAQ is no longer applicable, I'd expect a response from someone on the admin side here, though their responses have tapered off quite a bit now.

You can try the feedback asking the original creator to either update or delete it.
