I've been wondering if there is any way to do this. Lets say ive got a drawing with a bajillion lines or so and i have to individually pick a bunch of them for some reason. Lets pretend i accidentally choose "move" instead of "copy". Once i cancel it, i have to reselect again. Does anyone know of some way around this; some kind of command that will reselect the last group of entities you picked before performing a function?

Use P for previous selection set, L for the last entity created

Hmm... Not sure how your version is set up, but in 2006 "P" is pan and "L" is line.

whoops...i gotcha. I have to enter another command first. thanks

Whew !!! Thought I was going crazy there for a moment!!

Hi, Jasonx10:

Back from previous autocad versions, you could use SELECT command to make a selection set, and from then on, used them as previous. The selection set is set whenever you undo, back you can always use SELECT.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

I am sorry. I said the selection set is set whenever you undo. I meant the selection set is released whenever you undo, but you use may also save the set as an autolisp variable:

(setq a (ssget))

and then use it for other acad commands, for example:

Command: list
Select objects: !a

Hope this helps,
Roberttx
