Have you tried advance with full menus in roles? Not in assembly mode? Try searching for it with command finder....

It was my first check. Assembly is available with full menus

The problem occur only with this "special component view" added in drafting

It wouldn't hurt. However, I did indicate in the body of my PR that this issue was brought to my attention by a customer, just that I didn't provide any details as to whom that might have been. That being said, if you do open your own PR and would like to reference MINE, it's #7117083.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is "working as designed". The "replace component" command helps maintain constraints and exploded view positions, neither of which you have to worry about with imported views (which technically are not components). Perhaps the new workflow is simply to delete the old view and add the new one.

No, it's NOT 'working as designed' (I've already gotten enough feedback from my PR so as to learn that). When I know exactly which release this will be fixed in, I'll pass that info along.

Hi Cowski,

If we use this kind of view with part families "Replace view" is not a good solution because all dimensions will disappear.
