Rafi22,

First way;
View==>Layout==>Replace View

Right click and Replace View.

It is works only when part is open

And also make sure that you have selected "Advanced with Full menus" role, because the funny thing about the Roles is that even some "common MB3 options" are also been removed from "Essentials ..." Roles.

If you saved a view using View>Save As then it can be found using replace view then custom views at the bottom of the list.

Did you know that views are now also masquerading as Cameras under the Part Navigator. Under cameras you should be able to pick whatever view you wish to change to from those listed.

Best regards

You need to understand that the Roles we have supplied that are NOT designated as having 'Full Menus' are intended to provide what we now consider to be the preferred functions. In the case of 'Replace View', we recommend that you use 'Orient View' instead since it is much more efficient since it's done using matrix display manipulation inside the 'engine' of the graphics card (i.e., we're doing it in 'hardware') where as 'Replace View' is done purely in 'software' meaning that we have to recompute the entire display of the model including re-rendering any view specific elements such as lights, faceting for shading, rendering of curves and edges, etc.

Back in the old days, before high end graphics cards, this was all we had, but with the introduction of these powerful graphics engines, we started to optimize certain functions to leverage this technology in order to get the maximum out of the hardware.

With the advent of Roles it gave us the opportunity to create really two basic 'classes' of User Interfaces (to say nothing of making it easier for users to customize and save those changes as well to share them with others), one for the new or non-power user who we wanted to steer toward those commands and functions which we felt would provide the best functionality, performance, and ease of use as well as to try and not make things look any more complex than it had to be. However, we also recognized that both what we call legacy users, those that had been using UG/NX from the days before things like Roles and User Interface Customization, as well as the so-called 'power user' who did not want anything hidden from him, could also use the same basic Roles, but with 'Full Menus' where all of the officially supported functions and options would be available without having to explicitly turn them on using Customization.

This last point is important since there is also a class of functions which while they are still supported by the software, they are also considered to be 'obsolete' but which we've decided to retain for true legacy situations and those are not available even with Full Menus ON and therefore needs to be 'activated' by other means, some by having use customize and bring to the surface as it were, and others by having to set certain switches and optional settings.

Anyway, there are really good reasons why some functions were removed from the basic set of Roles and we hope that you appreciate that the difference between Full Menus and not was meant as a means to both educate and accommodate the idea that long term, sticking to the preferred functions will result in high user productivity and efficiency as well as allow us to concentrate on optimizing and enhancing those functions which we would like to think are being used by the most people and to allow us to maintain, but not have to invest as heavily in what really are functions are not consider mainline, yet still useful to some customers and users.
