I've created a deformable component that also happens to be the base file for a family part. The part is a pin. It can have varying diameters as defined by the family part spreadsheet parameters, but the overall length of this pin is the only thing defined as deformable. When I assemble this part initially, it works as intended. However, when I try to replace the component within the assembly, it fails...giving me an error that reads something like, "Cannot maintain relationships if component to replace is a child of component." If I uncheck the "maintain relationships" box, it will replace the component, but the assembly constraints are lost and the size diameter of the pin does not update. Any advice would be appreciated...Thanks!
